Andrew Grant-Christensen is a Danish Director of Photography based in Copenhagen. His work spans commercials, documentary, corporate and narrative film. He is drawn to strong visual storytelling and approaches each project on its own terms, finding the visual language that best serves the story, the director and the idea.
After beginning his career in the Danish film industry, Andrew moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to study cinematography at the American Film Institute Conservatory, graduating in 2005. He remained in Los Angeles for several years, working across commercials and narrative productions before returning to Denmark in 2011.
Commercials have remained a central part of his work, alongside documentary and corporate projects. His experience across these different forms has shaped an approach that combines a strong cinematic foundation with an instinct for people, storytelling and real moments.
He works with directors, production companies and agencies in Denmark and internationally.
